People require energy, space and resources to survive. We are beginning to understand the effects of those needs on the environment and have started implementing methods of satisfying them with as little damage to the environment as possible - leaving a more healthy planet for future generations.

We are committed to the long term health of our planet.

Reuse
As often as possible, we donate used items to charities, schools, etc. to prevent used product from going into a landfill.

Reduce
We use blanket wrapped shipments as often as possible to reduce the amount of cardboard and plastic packaging and the resulting disposal of that packaging.

We activily work with vendors to limit the number of trucks required to ship product to reduce emissions.

Recycle
Our San Antonio location sends all waste to a recycling facility.

Our Austin office sends all plastic, paper and aluminum out for recycling.

Product Representation
We represent many products that are GREENGUARD and/or SCS certified as well as products that are MDBC Cradle to Cradle certified. A number of vendors we represent use a high quantity of recycled product in the manufacturing process and guarantee a high level of recyclability at the end of the life of the product.

How Our MAPS Program Supports Our Committment
Our MAPS program represents products that provide healthier environments.

These products reduce energy requirements and reconfiguration man hours.

MAPS products help increase indoor air quality and are designed for flexibility and reuse, leaving behind little, if any, waste.

While providing healthier and more efficient environments, MAPS products are more cost effective from the first day and over time.

Our Knowledge
We continue to grow our knowledge of green initiatives, including LEED certification. We have been involved in several LEED projects and have LEED Green Associate/AP certified employees.

Other Initiatives
While the technology is certainly available to live in a paperless world, it is also true that we still require paper to function. We use SFI certified paper. To learn more about the Forest Stewardship Council, visit their website.
