Betty is Workplace Resource's Manager of Human Resources for both the Austin and San Antonio operations. She has years of experience as a Human Resources Manager, all of which has been in the contract office furniture industry.

Prior to joining Workplace Resource in 2005, Betty was Human Resources Manager for six years at Texas Wilson Office Furniture in the San Antonio marketplace. While at Texas Wilson, she developed or made substantial improvements in all aspects of the human resources function.

Betty has earned both a Human Resources Generalist Certification and a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR). Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas San Antonio, in San Antonio, Texas.

Betty is also actively involved in the local San Antonio SHRM Chapter serving as the Director of Professional Development for 2009 and the VP of Programs in 2008.

Most recently, Betty has been certified as a LEED Green Associate through the USGBC.
